Founder

Kathy founded The Katsias Company with her husband, Mike Katsias, in 1980, and has been a driving force in the commercial real estate business ever since. Alongside Mike and their son, John, the business has grown exponentially under Kathy’s leadership and care.

Kathy was also a Charter Member of the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) of Hampton Roads, and a member of the Virginia Association of Realtors and the Tidewater Association of Realtors. Her accomplishments have been officially recognized by her community when she won the Outstanding Professional Woman Award (2004), Women in Business Achievement Award (2004), YWCA’s Women of Distinction Award, and many more.

Kathy is also incredibly charitable with her time and has served on a number of boards and commissions, including: Virginia Beach Planning Commission, Virginia Beach Arts & Humanities Commission, Shore Drive Advisory Committee, Virginia Beach Forum (Founding Member), Virginia Beach Rotary Club Board Member, Neptune Festival Royal Order, and numerous others.
